Be You Room – Corner #2 – Indomitable Hope

This is where we learn to celebrate life to the fullest; being playful with the One who created us. By simply being ourselves, we experience freedom, joy, and laughter. We meet the playful God, who loves to be with us and enjoy the gift that is our life.

In (1 Kings 18) Elijah was exhausted. God sent the raven to bring Elijah food and this allowed Elijah to rest and recover. Enter into the Yellow House Be You Room’s Indomitable Hope Corner with Jesus. He will bring rest, recovery and full restoration to you, giving you “Indomitable Hope”!

The accuser of the brethren will always put a distorted mirror in front of you to have you look at yourself in the wrong image but in the Indomitable Hope Corner of the Be You Room, Jesus has you look into the correct mirror that reflects how wonderful you really are in Him!

They say you are a stressful person, but the mirror says you are mature and composed.

They say you are not loving, but the mirror says you are most affectionate.

They say you are unloved and unwanted but the mirror says you are wholly loved and desired.

They say you are ugly, the mirror says you are beautiful!

They say you have no purpose, but the mirror says you have destiny in Christ.

They say you will have no rebound but the mirror says you will bounce back to a higher place than you were before.

They say your name, your heritage is unimportant and wasted, but He says Hebrews 2:12 – He proclaims your name in the midst of the congregation forever.

They say you have no gift that is meaningful and He says you have the special gift that touches and changes the world – 1 Peter 4:10 – Everyone has a special gift.

They say you are dishonorable, but the mirror says you are a King or Queen, ruling and reigning in honor.

They Say Romans 7 – that you will always be a double minded sinner, and the mirror says you are Romans 8 – a loved son and a true reflection of God.

They say you are a leaf in the wind that wonders in pain and perplexities. The mirror says you are a tree that is deeply rooted by the waters. Secured in a perfect love that casts out all fears.

They say that you are not desired, and the mirror says “you are all I ever desired”.

They say that God is worn out with you, and the mirror says that God has just started with you.

They say the mirror is a rearview mirror, and He says it is a window to a wondrous now without looking back.

They say you’ll live a life of scarcity, but the mirror says you have a life of abundance – then I saw the mirror full of fruit.

They say you are a nothing, the mirror says I build your public persona in your own uniqueness.

They say you have to be striving all the time and the mirror says you don’t have to do a thing.You are accepted and loved now.

They say you have to be perfect, and the mirror says “no, you have the art of being a human being, and that is perfect”

They say that Jesus doesn’t want you, and the Mirror says Jesus is chasing you down to have you come dine with him.

They say you’ll give into temptation and you need to be fixed, but the mirror says “you are perfect the way you are and you are delighted in”

They say you have to magnify the problems about yourself, but the mirror says “you have to instantly forget the problems about yourself and love yourself well.”

They say you are broke, the mirror says you are wealthy.

They say you are not a prophet, but the mirror says that every word out of your mouth will come from the spirit of God.

They say you aren’t safe, but the mirror says you have thousands of angels protecting you and you are secure.

They say you have to live in a bird cage. The mirror says the whole world is yours and you are free.

They say when someone sins against you, you have to retaliate, but the mirror says “you are not a victim, but one who forgives and overcomes”

They say you are stuck in imperfections, and the mirror says “celebrate your imperfections with His grace”

They say you got to haul bricks all your life and work by the sweat of your brow, and the mirror says, “your yoke is easy, your burden is light, and you prosper 100 fold”.

They say you are getting old, the mirror says “there is no way to get old in this 80-100 years on this earth, you’re just getting started”

They say you are rejected and the mirror says you are fully accepted.

They say you are to be criticized and the mirror says you are to be celebrated.

They say “you are boring, there isn’t much to you” and the mirror says, “you are full of wonders to be discovered”.

They say you are done growing and stuck, and the mirror says you are always becoming more and more in love and life.

They say you are an abuser, the mirror says “you crown others with dignity and love”

They say you are going to be dragged around in this life, and He says the opposite – you are free. You aren’t living in a maze, but in the wide open fields.

They say its not ok to be you, and God says “that’s all I want is you and your colorful story”

They say that you’ll always be a critic of others, He says “you’ll be my heart and see others with my eyes and see their original design”

They say you’ll be lonely, the mirror says you’ll be nurtured and cared for all the days of your life.

They say there is no hope reformation, the mirror says “that is all you are reading – a book of hope and reformation…the Bible”

They say you’ll never be understood, the mirror says that many will be in tune with who you are and love you.

They say you are strange, the mirror says you are unique, precious and honored.

They say you’ll be unfruitful, the mirror says you’ll be fruitful and evergreen.

They say you are worthless, and God says that you need not say a word, He will defend you.

They say don’t be vulnerable, and he says it is a safe place and he will protect us.

They say stay within the walls of the  church, but the mirror says go out and to be a friend of sinners.

They say to judge others and the mirror says “you are born from the father of mercies and the God of All Comfort – do not judge. Let you love abound.”

They say you are mad at God, and the mirror says that you are mad at God for the way He made you, and God will bring His Deliverance to you

They say you are a blueberry, and you are an orange.

They say you are a prune, and you are a banana

They say you got cracked feet, and you have healthy feet that bounce.

They say God doesn’t fight for you, and the mirror says “He died for you and that means He fights for you”

They say you are less than what you think, and the mirror says “you are far better than what you know”…

They say you are the sum total of your traumas, and the mirror says you are the sum total of His precious, powerful & covering blood.

They say treat yourself roughly, the mirror says to treat yourself rightly and gently.

There is a sound of noise from the city – (Isaiah 66: 5-8)

“There were brethren that hated you and then there was a sound of noise from the city and a child was delivered. Who has heard such things – shall a nation be born at once?”

In order for us to know ourselves we need to know the Holy Spirit in us is what enables us to bring forth a nation in a day. The Yellow House ‘Be You’ Room opens up the power of who we are. We are called to be New Creations, not just be morally better.
