About Bob Hartley

Bob Hartley is the founder of Hartley Institute/Deeper Waters Ministry in Kansas City, MO, inspired through a dream the Lord gave to Bob more than a decade where the Lord spoke that the "The Youth of this nation are diving into 'shallow waters' of the knowledge of God and it is killing them!"  Bob's heart is to take this generation deep into the knowledge of God through hopeful heartfel prayer and intimacy with the Lord, and opening up their ability to hear from His heart and partner with the God of All of Life in every arena and season of the soul.

Bob served as a pastor at Metro Christian Fellowship before entering the marketplace in 1983, with a vision to see the marketplace redeemed and cities established that value and love the person of Jesus.  He is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Hartley Group, a "Hope Center" for the marketplace, consisting of Hartley's Executive Cleaning, Swift Chemicals & Supply, Prize Properties and H&H Management in Kansas City, MO.

Bob is a frequent speaker to youth, churches, businesses and national leaders throughout America and the world. His quest has been to bring the Kingdom of God into every arena of life and give spiritual tools and equipping to those seeking to know and love God in the midst of their everyday lives.  Currently, Bob resides in Kansas City with his wife and four children.

About Terry Hartley

Terry Hartley, Vice President of Deeper Waters, is a devoted woman of prayer and great faith with a heart for the nations.  If you know this very special woman, you would agree that she truly is a gift from God. So many know her husband Bob Hartley, but few are as familiar with Bob's bride of 25 years, a quiet, committed, intelligent and beautiful woman.

Terry Hartley was born and raised in Fremont, Nebraska and moved with her family to Kansas City when she was in the 8th grade. Terry attended Center High School, as did Mike Bickle, where they became close friends. After graduating from high school, Terry attended and graduated from Belmont College located in Nashville, TN and later, received a Masters degree in Special Education at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Terry heads up the benevolence arm of Deeper Waters, and has a great passion and love for the nation of Zimbabwe.

Terry is currently heading Project Generation Hope. "With the goal of seeing Zimbabwe transformed, it is our desire to sow into the reformation of this nation one building block at a time. Partnering with the spirit of adoption, Project: Generation Hope is a long term mentorship program designed to unite the hearts of the mothers and the fathers with the hearts of the children. Introducing orphans to the care of the family unit, it is our goal to provide them with the long term emotional, spiritual, and financial help that comes through being a part of a strong healthy family unit. Transcending geographical, and cultural barriers, this project is aimed at uniting the world wide family of God while building a hopeful future for a nation by strengthening its weakest members."   Find out more here!
