From Pittsburgh we went to Concord, NC. and did a series of meetings over the weekend with Jay Stewart and the Refuge Church. Bob was able to lay the foundation of hope for the Refuge Church by explaining what God is doing in the earth, through whom, how is He doing it, and what does this mean to the Refuge. We also had a wonderful time of ministry with the entire staff of the Refuge. We were especially blessed by the worship team of the Refuge. They have an extraordinary ability to lead others into the hopeful presence of the Lord.
The next weekend, May 5-6, Bob and Kevin returned to Concord and spoke Saturday night to the youth of Concord about being Champions of life. The prayer room at IHOP- Concord was packed to overflowing as a prophetic spirit covered that meeting. Sunday morning Bob, Craig and Kevin shared at the Evangel Worship Center and prophetically reviewed their journey (how the Lord had sent the wind, the fire, and the coming rain of hope). After the service, we had the opportunity to minister toA Pastor Thant and discuss how the Lord is bringing unity to Concord and the role he might play in this.
Monday we had dinner with Bob and Bonnie Jones in Charlotte. It reminded me of the early days in Kansas City when we would sit around in Bob Jones' living room and listen to what the Spirit was saying. The love flowed and Bob H. shared how he saw Bob and Bonnie on a “glory train” inviting others to get on. Bob H. had very specific insight into the places this “glory train” would be going and the specific prophetic declarations that would be made in each location. Wow, we love Bob and Bonnie Jones. Additionally we had the opportunity to minister to the Carolina Kingdom Builders and lead them in Adoration and Asking prayer.
Many people throughout the various meetings were greatly touched by the Lord as He drew them closer into His heart through the prophetic ministry of Bob
